In a landmark decision, the South East Cricket Association has announced a major expansion of its Women’s League, growing from 5 to 8 official teams for the 2025–26 season. This marks the largest expansion in the league’s history and is a direct response to the rising popularity and participation in women’s cricket throughout the region.

The Why Behind the Move:The past three seasons have seen a 50% increase in female player registration, with more young women entering development academies and community clubs. Expanding the league ensures they have competitive platforms to grow and shine.
